What is the PayNow-UPI linkage?

The UPI-PayNow linkage provides a secure, real-time, and 24/7 fund transfer service between India and Singapore. It connects India’s Unified Payments Interface (UPI) and Singapore’s PayNow platforms, allowing users to instantly send and receive money using just their mobile number, Virtual Payment Address (VPA), or UPI ID.

  • From Singapore to India: The sender must enter the recipient’s UPI ID.

  • From India to Singapore: The sender must enter the recipient’s PayNow-registered mobile number or VPA.
