What do the different transaction statuses mean?

Each transaction is assigned a status to help you track its progress. Understanding these labels will help you stay updated on your payment and top-up activity.

Common Transaction Statuses

  1. Completed: 

    The transaction was successful. Funds have been fully moved, and the payment or top-up is finalised.

  2. Pending: 

    The transaction is still processing. This often happens with bank transfers or merchant holds. The funds may be temporarily held while we wait for final confirmation from the financial institution.

  3. Failed: 

    The transaction could not be completed. This may be due to insufficient funds, incorrect details, or a technical issue.

  4. View More Detail: 

    For any status, tap on the specific transaction in your Activity list. This will open a detailed view showing the timestamp, reference number, and specific reason for failure if applicable.

  5. Refund Timeline:

    If a transaction fails after funds have been deducted, the detailed view will often provide an estimated refund timeline for when the money will be returned to your account
