How do I send instant money transfers to India with Google Pay?

You can now use Google Pay Singapore to access the PayNow–UPI remittance service, powered by Liquid Group.

Here’s how it works:

1) Open your Google Pay Singapore app.
2) Tap on “India Transfers” under the Explore section.

3) You will be securely redirected to LiquidPay to sign up/log in.

4) Enter the recipient’s UPI ID in India (e.g., abcd123@okaxis).

Note: The recipient must have “International Transfers” enabled in their UPI
app in India.

5) Enter the amount in SGD – see fees and INR conversion upfront.
6) Confirm and send instantly.

Transfers to India are powered by Liquid Group Pte. Ltd., a Major Payment Institution licensed under Singapore’s the Payment Services Act 2019. Google Pay only redirects you to LiquidPay and does not provide this service, receive funds or process these payments.
