Do I need a bank account to use this service?
Yes. Indian users must have:

An active bank account eligible for cross-border transactions.

A registered UPI ID for receiving payments.
Does the Indian beneficiary need to register with PayNow Singapore?
No. They only need a valid account with one of the participating Indian banks and a registered UPI ID.
Does the Singapore beneficiary need to register with UPI India?
No. They only need a valid PayNow-registered account with a participating bank or NFI in Singapore.
